Make Them Glad You Came

I had the pleasure of watching Mark at work first on an episode of Two and a Half Men back in 2007. That’s when I realized I wanted to film an extra documenting what it’s like to go to a live sitcom taping on the Warner Bros. lot so that fans around the world can experience it. I finally had that opportunity with “The Big Bang Theory Live” which is available on The Big Bang Theory Season 4 Blu-ray.

We also highlighted Mark in a featurette called “The Sweet Spot” on the season 12 release. Mark had a unique perspective in that he was in the front row for the taping of every episode of The Big Bang Theory in his role as audience warm-up.

One comment Mark said in an interview that stood out to me was advice he received from his mother when he would do magic shows for kid’s birthday parties - “Make them glad you came.” Mark was only a kid at that time but the advice has been a hallmark of his life in entertainment.
